How Technology Can Support Long-Term Transformational Experiences
A free webinar recording co-hosted with Homecoming on innovative tools to support practitioners before, between, and after sessions
Whether you’re a newly trained or seasoned psychedelic therapist, you know that truly transformational experiences and lasting outcomes requires ongoing client collaboration, guidance, and support. However, many providers simply don’t have the bandwidth to manage everything it takes to achieve this, on top of daily operations.
In this webinar, we’ll discuss the different platforms you can use to support your business and facilitate harmonious patient care experiences. Streamline operations; help clients better prepare and integrate their experience; offer ongoing support in between and after sessions; increase collaboration and engagement; and gain insight into client journeys. Julia Mirer, MD - Director of Strategy Nushama
Julia Mirer M.D. is a consultant in the emerging field of psychedelic medicine, serving as a bridge between eastern and western practices, committed to merging them to help create a new paradigm for integrative health and wellness.
She was on the road to a career in Pediatrics, but seeing the pitfalls of the current healthcare system, decided to shift gears to explore transformative medicine where she has found her calling in advocacy and education around the responsible use of these medicines. Dr. Mirer believes that a successful future for this field depends on the interplay between policy, research, and clinics and has therefore positioned herself to play a role in each.
Nationally, Dr. Mirer is an advisor for the Psychedelic Medicine Coalition which is lobbying for psychedelic research funding. In Florida, she works in psychedelic clinical research at Segal Trials as a facilitator, most recently for USONA’s phase 2 trial using Psilocybin for Major Depression. She serves as the Director of Strategy at Nushama, where she hopes to combine all her experience to create the vision of a new kind of healthcare system and facilitate Nushama’s goal of humanizing medicine.
